I think the intent is to evolve the software so that you can use the IRCLONE to capture codes directly from remotes as well as input them numerically. There is a capture key icon that doesn't seem to be active yet.
However as it is today it seems that the functionality is limited to moving buttons around, editing text, and creating macros and all IR captures must be done with the remote itself.
