You can dial a 1-800 or 1-888 number from here in the United Kingdom, although you _will_ be charged for it. Dial 00-1-800-xxx-xxxx and you'll get connected (international toll charges apply).

Incidentally, where did you get your one from and for how much? I'm thinking of either getting one shipped over mail order or going over to the US to get one myself.
