Cheap universal with TONS of learning memory, try the Sony VL700 or VL900, $50 and under.

The RS remotes are not designed to be "learning" remotes, they are universal remotes with a built in database of setup codes, the learning feature is just there to allow you to program a few missing buttons. Did you try the built in codes before you stared doing all the learning?
