Thank you so so much for this thread. I just bought a Marantz SR-7000 to go with a Sony TV, Sony DVD, Yamaha CD, JVC VCR, and full Paradigm surround system with subwoofer. The Marantz came with a fancy universal remote with LCD but it was so confusing and unuser friendly plus it wasn't backlit. I bought this 1994 and it CONTROLS THEM ALL! Perfect!
