Sorry that I posted message in a wront thread! Anyway, I tried your suggestion to learn the DVD power using another key other than DVD "Power" of the 3000, then programmed a macro to execute this new power key. The macro did indeed turn the DVD player on, but not off. If I pressed the macro a 2nd time, the DVD player turned off then on again!
What's the difference between teaching a power signal to a power key and a non-power key? Why would the macro can't turn on the device with the device's own power key but does it with another key? (but then won't turn it off!)
There seems to be a few quirks with the 3000 so far...
