Repeating commands in macro's is usually caused by improperly learning the command from another remote. If you hold the button on the original remote down until the 3000 beeps, it should solve the problem.
If this doesn't solve the problem, it seems the solution above is a good one.

This is a very common problem - for some reason, when you learn a "non repeating" code, the remote repeats it three times when played back in a macro. Due to the speed some devices only see it as two codes - on and off again - frustrating new users to no end. :-)
