The shipping is roughly $30-35.00US for UPS
AIR Expedited, which is a 3 day service. It's
actually a little cheaper overall than UPS ground,
even though the ground is only about $12-15US,
they will tack on ~$45.00 of brokerage fees, plus
it's a 7 - 10 day kick.
With any UPS air service there are no extra
brokerage fees.

As far as duty implications, I called Canada
Customs, and the latest is, as far as home
electronics products go, there is no more duty
when shipped from US to Canada, REGARDLESS
of country of manufacture. Apparently this is
a very recent change to the legislation. Earlier
this year, this was only the case for US made
merch. You will however pay GST on the declared value of the merch. in $CDN.
