I called Pioneer Customer Support in Long Beach today (Wed) and they said the remote for my Pioneer Elite operates at 1.4 megaHertz! No wonder dear old Pronto, lumbering along at a mere 56KHz, can't tune into the Pioneer Elite babble! The Pioneer people told me there are no plans to change frequencies. Can't get along without my 16x9 monitor. So until Philips comes up with a solution, guess I'll have to balance two remotes on my knee. Makes macroing a little awkward.
