In my case I have placed ALL(7) of my old remotes in a drawer.

I have one macro that turns on my DSS, PreAmp and TV sets the PreAmp to DSS and opens my DSS Guide.

I have another that turns them all off.
If I want to watch a DVD (since I open the caddy to place the DVD in the caddy the unit is on) it changes the PreAmp to DVD dims my lights and starts the DVD.

I have one to turn off the DVD and return my lights up.
