I was able to learn my RCA VCR's jog commands into Pronto, BUT: My OEM remote is of the type mentioned above with a different code for every point on the shuttle. This required a different button on the Pronto for each "step", and coordination/counting while programming. Fortunately, there is a VCR template for this, which kind of looks like an arch. There IS an advantage to this arrangement: I can go immediately to just the right step.
