Have you actually looked at the market? There are less than a dozen control companies out there these days. And almost all of them are dealer only. It is really a bad time to be a consumer looking for these types of things.

Sofabaton was very anticipated with the new offerings they were coming out with a few years ago. But it's turned out to be junk so far. People are still hoping they will do better in the coming years.

People have been waiting many years now for the 'Remote Two' or whatever Unfolded Circle is calling it currently. It looks to be the new Pronto remote for the future and the anticipation for it is very high. But will it actually ever come to market and will it actually be good and not glitchy as hell.... who knows. Time will tell and it's taking a long time.

One-For-All is a great universal remote (database wise) but they only make dumb remotes. No automation to speak of and limited to IR only.

CAAVO went to nursing homes (kind of a joke).

Then there are the dealer systems = C4, Crestron, Savant, URC, RTI, ELAN, and a few others.

Anything else (that I'm aware of) is just science projects and not worthy of even being called working systems.
