when the remote is placed in the base the charging lights on the base do not go on and i assume it is not charging. I tried another AC adapter with the same output (12V 400mA) but that didn't work. The remote is living off it dying charge. What are the suggestions for either repair or replacement parts.

The second part to this is something made that would hold disposable batteries that i could use to power it.

Thanks
