In Southern California, but still....

I was asked to install some ceiling speakers in a couple of different exam/torture rooms of a dentist. Both he and I were oblivious to the fact that there was a sheet of lead, about 20 gauge, in the walls surrounding each room that had an X-ray machine in it. I assume these went floor to ceiling. I saw the top of a couple of sheets near the ceiling but didn't have a need to uncover anything below the standard height of a VC. I wrapped the backs of the volume controls.

You should check into this.
