From a little bit of reading, the JVC beat the Sony in PQ and lumens over the last year or so. The release of the Sony 6000 seemed to remedy the lumens war between the 2 brands, and now seem equal. But the contrast ratio seems to be better on the JVC? The JVC does cost a little more.
I used to sell a lot of Epson’s before the 4K days and their service was exceptional. How does JVC and Sony compare to each other in the event a projector has an issue (in or out of warranty)?
