I'm mainly looking between Goldstar (LG), Samsung and Hisense mid to high end for a new TV, but the problem I'm having I use a URC MX900 learning remote for all my equipment and most of these sets seem to have RF (Bluetooth) based remotes making them useless to me as I don't want a coffee table of different remotes in front of me.

I can't be the only one who has a setup this way (IR programmable remote for everything).

I know some sets will work with other remotes that didn't come wit the set and I'm wondering if anyone knows if any of these sets will work with one of their IR remotes from their less expensive lines?

I could care less about "Wands" that one waves around and even less for something one 'talks to'.

Hope that all make sense as the choices these manufactures have made don't.
Years from now, you might as well kiss recording OTA TV goodbye thanks to ATSC 3
