I intend to try Remote Master, but I am not an HT Specialist and a lot of the stuff on the Remote Master and JP1 sites is going right over my head. I have it installed and I can kind of see where it's going but actually using it has me a little stumped. I kind of wish there was a Wiki for Dummies. Even the JP1 for beginners didn't have much information I could figure out how to apply. As it is, I am trying to bring info from about 3 different websites to make a coherent path. I don't code and am not an IT specialist. I know Hexadecimal when I see it but have no idea what it actually is or does. I look at the Protocol ID and Parameters and ffffffwwwwiiiiiiippppp I am lost. The Screenshots in the Tutorial don't match up to what I am actually seeing so it's going to take some learning on my part.

In fact, as you are talking about codes, I know what they are but I am not sure how they are applicable in the situation you are describing since I was just using the EZ-RC wizards to set up Devices, Activities, Favorites and customizations.

Should I be using RMIR or Remote Master? I have been getting confused by Remote Master but RMIR seems to make a lot more sense.
