yes, this works very well as long as you are careful with the super glue. The problem is that UEI apparently had to have a separate part made to go over the roller wheel so that it would extend past the case. In doing so they had to make a very fragile, snap-on extender for the roller wheel. The "fragile" extender part is what breaks regularly, making the roller not work well.

I have glued many of the add-on parts to the roller wheel with super glue and they are solid and work long term. Goal is to add the super glue on small dots all around the add-on piece where it makes contact with the roller wheel and hold it steady for a few minutes to ensure good contact. Glue then hold in place steadily for at least two minutes and then don't move it for at least 30 minutes.

You want to use a tooth pick and put some super glue on a yellow sticky or something similar and then dip the toothpick into the glue and carefully drop it onto the areas all around and between the add-on piece and the actual roller wheel. You have to hold the add-on piece steady for a few minutes to make sure it maintains contact. I have done a few dozen so your mileage may vary. Just go slow and have a lot of patience and wait at least 30-40 minutes before trying it, depending upon how much super glue you use.

Good luck - DD
