I think I found a good one for converstion -- it's called "Shoot Star" and is done with a 3x3 grid of pegs. You start with one peg in the middle, the goal is to have pegs all around the outside (but not he middle). Each time you click on a peg the area around it changes -- "holes" become "stars" and vice versa. Might take a fair number of pages, but is still quite limited design-wise.
