Hi all, I also have a Nevo SL which I bought from eBay a couple of years, and have it programmed as desired using the appropriate NevoStudio software on Windows XP. We have just built a new PC running Windows 7.
John: Your trick for Windows Vista looks interesting. I wonder if it will work on Windows 7? AFAIK, Windows 7 is closer to Vista than Vista is to XP. I'm a little reluctant to try it, though - don't want to end up with a confused remote control.
We still have an XP machine, but the main computer with a decent desk and chair in front of it is Windows 7... so it's more of a luxury than a neccessity.
The other thing that might be a complication for us is that we're running 64 bit windows 7.
Other than the very annoying volume-shooting-up-all-the-way bug, the Nevo SL seems a decent remote - certainly good enough until there's a decent AND cost-effective remote out there.
Regards Dave
