Hi Syd, thanks for the response. I have tried many combinations, some of which are summarised below:

Server: Tversity, Player: Foobar, Art OK, FLAC OK, single track only
Server: Tversity, Player: WMP12, Art No, FLAC No
Server: Tversity, Player: XBMC, Art OK, FLAC No
Server: Twonky, Player: Foobar, Art varies, FLAC OK, single track only
Server: Twonky, Player: WMP12, Art MP3 only, FLAC no, single track only
Server: Twonky, Player: XBMC, Art varies, FLAC no
Server: Foobar, Player: Foobar, Art OK, FLAC OK, single track only
Server: XBMC, Player: XBMC, FLAC no
Server: Serviio, Player: Foobar, Art varies FLAC no
Server: J River MC, Player: Denon AVC, Art OK, FLAC OK transcoded to LPCM, single track only
Server: J River MC, Player: J River MC, Art OK, FLAC OK, single track only

The table shows that none of the combinations support play of multiple tracks.  It must be a problem with the Nevo unless I am doing something wrong.  I am running out of options.  Have you got anything working reliably?

Nick.

I have been using Nevo products for a long time now and it has been a while since I've used the UPnP features with it, but I will give a shot at why I think only one track plays.

Is the Nevo controller asleep when the next track tries to get played? If so, I believe the player is not getting the "next track" que from the Nevo since it's a sleep. Most other UPnP solutions have devices that are on all the time, so that might not be an issue with those, but the Nevo obviously is asleep most of its life. I don't remember all of the server/player combos I've tried in the past, but I do know that some of them (like when I used a D-Link Media Lounge DSM-320) required the Nevo to be on all the time in order for the "next track" que to be received.

If the Nevo is on and it still doesn't get the next track, then this is an even bigger issue and I don't know what to say. One last thing to try is to try to execute actual playlists instead of just executing a single song. Even when selecting a song from an album, sometimes the server/player might just interpret that as "he just wants that one song to play even though it belongs to a bigger list/album" and that might be the reason for the next song not to play. If you try selecting an actual saved playlist, this might work better.

Anyhow, I hope some of that helps. Good luck.
