UCommand 616 Features:

Controls 10 components: The UC-616 includes default templates for LD/VCR, Cable Box, VCR, DVD, Amp, TV, Tuner/Tape and 2 auxiliaries. Any mix of up to 10 components can be controlled. Unused devices can be configured not to show.

LCD touchscreen: The 3.2" diagonal backlit dot-matrix screen features a resolution of 64x128 pixels (46 by 49DPI). The screen turns off automatically after 25 minutes of inactivity.

Backlighting: Both LCD screen and hard buttons are backlit with a deep blue electroluminescent (EL) panel, which can be configured to remain on between 5 and 60 seconds, in 5 second increments.

LCD & hard buttons: The UCommand 616 can control up to 42 buttons per device – 35 soft LCD buttons on four pages, plus 7 hard buttons.

Full learning: Up to 420 learned codes with frequencies from 10kHz to 150kHz can be learned. The UCommand intuitively steps through learning all buttons for a device.

Macros: The UCommand can hold 12 macros with up to 25 commands each. Delays can be inserted between commands, up to 15 seconds in length.

Timers: One dozen timers may be configured to point to a single button or macro. Each timer can be configured as to when it runs: once a day, a specific day, weekly, only weekdays, every day except Sunday, a specific month and date, etc.

Customized buttons & labels: The UCommand 616’s LCD screen can display buttons of any shape or placement on a 6 by 8 grid. Buttons can be added, deleted, resized or moved right on the remote. In addition, each button can feature a label of up to 20 characters or four lines. A total of 54 custom symbols are available for use.

Docking station: Two accessories are available for the UCommand 616: The PP-616 rechargeable battery pack, plus the UD-616 rechargeable docking station and computer interface.

PC interface: Thorough the UD-616 docking station and a serial cable you can connect the UC-616 to a personal computer and use the RemoteLink software package to edit the layout of your remote.

Light sensor: A sensor neatly hidden beneath the screen is used to turn the screen on when a certain decrease in ambient light is detected. This can be adjusted on a scale from 0 to 99.

Beep tone: The UC-616’s button confirmation tone can be configured on or off.

Date and clock: On an "information" screen, the UCommand displays the full time and date.

Memory protection: The UCommand will not lose its configuration when it is without battery power.

Duplicate remotes: Through two docking stations and the included transfer cable, the settings on one UC-616 can be duplicated to another.


UCommand 626 Adds:

Built-in X-10 codes: provides easy integration with the IR543.

Bundled communications cable: adds RS232 serial port communications without the use of the optional docking station.
