Now if you were to get me a pair of these . . .

. . . for $300.00, I'd be more than a little impressed.

And whilst you're at it, how about a couple of these . . .

. . . and one of these . . .

ok people i live in riverside C.A. and i had the same thing happen to me but i got away with it for $125 and what i did was look for the place and i found where they are based out of. they are based out of is in chino C.A. so i went down there and found out that its is a company. not some people just trying to make a quick buck. so what i did was i told them that i got there product from a guy in a white van. the man that i talked to was very nice and told me that there was a shipment messing and that i could have got on of them. the only way to get one is to go to a expo that is helled in different states. and they sell them for the price on the site. so what you guys got was a good deal for what you payed and always send in the warranty card because you wont find anything for them in a store.

I need to burst your bubble. If you must have gotten one of their products from a missing shipment (I assume you meant "missing" and "one," not "on"), can you think of a reason why they did not call the police?

Items from a missing shipment are STOLEN. Or the story is a lie.

Take your pick.

The only good deal here is that you will never never never buy anything out of the back of a van again!
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

I guess it happened to me. However, I got it from two good looking girls driving a van. Almost scared the shit out of me. I was driving down the road with a lot of work equipment in the back of my van and thought something must have fell off. SHe was hanging out the window screaming and I put my window down and got the story.

The extra stock, same story. I did ask if they were hot and was told no, showed the books, ect. I figured something was up. I did have my laptop. They were selling me a Kirsch K3 5.1 home theater system. The had said $2,700. They had speakers also. I found a nice Kirsch website http://www.kirschloudspeakers.com/. They did seem to get a little nervous when I started looking at links. I did find e-bay related items for 3-$400. Asking what was up with the price, they said they do sub work through-out the USA and could sell the extra stock. They started at $2000 for the system and speakers. Then down to $600. I said $200 is far as I would go.

I did notice a guy pulling up behind them a few minutes later, but never talked. She said he was a worker.

Now these two girls even had labeled shirts. I asked for her cell number and called it then and her phone rang there. I didn't think it was hot stuff then, but knew something was up. Anyway, I needed a set and gave her $200.00 for the system. Everythings is in the box and it looks good, but haven't tried it out.

I haven't read all through the forum, but is this Kirsch K3 -5.1 system what you people are referrring too. Does it even work.
Hope it at least works...

Yep, I read the forum, it is now Kirsch. Hope my brother likes it for Christmas....

BTW, got me in Greensboro NC, white van CF-7548. Two great looking girls, 20's.
Geesh, if it would have been a man yelling out his window, I would have drove on.
Got to admire the sales tactic.

I got caught as well with the same story in Hawthorne California. The man was driving a gray Van and goes by the name Grant. I also called his cell phone number and it worked. I also looked at the delivery slip and his name was on it with the equipment. He told me that these items were just sitting in a warehouse and his boss wanted to get rid of it. I asked him why not ebay and he said that his boss did not want to ruin his reputation. Something about selling on ebay can cause Kirsch to stop having his boss sell their products. My biggest concern was if the items were Hot. He assured me that they were not Hot and because his name was on it, I figured why would he put his own job in jeopardy. Needless to say, I paid $475 for the K-10. He even let me keep the magazine that showed the MSRP for $3,100.00 even after I had already looked it up on my cell phone. He seem very nice but after reading this forum,

I feel like a fool. What is going to happen to all these items that people are buying? Why would anyone send in the warranty slip to an item that ahs been discovered to be stolen? Shall we call the company up and let them know that we have a potential stolen item and see if they would just give us our money back?

The good news: Before giving the guy my money I made sure that every piece of equipment was in the box. I immediately went home and set it up to see if it works. And what do you know, it works great. It is the actual system and it works perfectly. It was also bought at a great price. Ebay has them for starting bid $450 that is why I offered up $475 since that would have been just about the same costs if I won on ebay.

The bad news: The item may be HOT. Although at first I did not think it was HOT but since we all have the same story in this forum, how could I not believe that it is a HOT item :(

I think most people realise it's Cate Blanchett that plays the ex., but who spotted Peter Jackson as a shelf filler?

I live in LA, CA and I bought a set of surround sound speakers (Theater Logic....never heard of the brand name before...) from a couple of shady guys in a van in Hollywood. I was in the market for it and I actually bought speakers from a van before in the past with no regrets about it so I said to myself "screw it why not?" I took them home and actually it is decent for the price I paid for them $275. The guys showed me the catalog that had the picture of the speakers listed at $3100. If I had that kind of budget I would have bought it from a reputable place instead from some guys in a a van. Just to be sure about my purchase, I did some searching and found this site. Now I wonder how much these speakers are really worth and are they going to last a long time. So far the speakers sounds good.
