FWIW, both MacMall.com and ClubMac.com are offering the RM-AV3000 for $107.50 (+ about $10 s/h). I just received one yesterday, and am still trying to decypher the manual :-)

I ordered one from PCMall around noon on Wed.. Cost
was 120.08 including overnight shipping.. I had the remote in hand at 10:00 Thursday.. Pretty good by anybodys standards..

It's been three days now and no response from Fernando from eCost regarding a "better price" on the
RM-AV3000. Anyone get a response from him yet? I didn't want to wait so I called J&R (800-806-1115). They had the unit in stock, matched eCost's price and sent it out yesterday. Should be receiving it withing the next couple of days.

Can anyone tell me about the RM-AV3000 timers? Can I use them to turn on my VCR and start recording at a date and time. Can I do weekly/daily shows? I am interested 'cause I'm tired of power failures goofing up my VCR schedule!
Is the manual downloadable online somewhere?

I bought one from gobuys.com for $114, but it was only $9 for shipping so it came out cheaper than ecost.
