I read the DIY USB Cable link from Rob's site and realized my Comcast DVR Remote has a JP1 connection. Has anyone tried programming these remotes?

exit the marketplace forum I linked to and you'll find many jp1-ers. not many hang around this thread or forum.

I would like to go ahead & purchase that remote and have you download what I need to make it work with the SOYO DYLT037A. Our dog chewed up our SOYO remote, which came with the TV and the replacements are too expensive and only work with the TV & nothing else.

Hey Robman, You have to be a customer from hell if you want anything done, but you have to be right about what you bitch about. You are wrong in assuming I'm talking about a universal remote. I was talking about the remote that came with their set. You were wrong also regarding their replacing the set. They did replace it with a newer model and an upgrade to Onyx model. They even sent the postage label download and I only paid a $15 expediting fee. Had my set back in less than 10 days. Of course the company is only 30 minutes down the road from me. The took it back not only because of the remote situation, but because it had a verticle 'ghost' line down the middle of the screen mostly seen on a pure white background or sky view. I was smart enough to get a 3 year warranty with the set Jan. '06. My set is now having an audio problem. Or that it is devoid of it except for the small hiss I can hear coming from the speakers. I fell asleep in front of the set one afternoon just to wake up to no sound coming from the set. I've tried everything. Switched out audio chords. Reset Factory settings. Don't know if it's the set or DirecTV satellite set up.
Any Ideas. Oh and when they sent the new set, there was no manual for it. It's a DYLT032C Has the COG06 serial number....so it's a 2006 model. Any ideas at to the audio prob. I'm having? Relayswitcher/ Josh

I need to order a remote preloaded with a code because i can't make head nor tails of how to program or find codes for the remote that came with my soyo tv. i'd appreciate any details that are involved in the shipping or instruction on how to figure out this remote. the only thing identifiable on the remote is "R-1321D"

i would happily buy a pre programed remote for a soyo 32 in. tv. the remote that came with a remote that i can't make head nor tails of on how to program it. the only identifing feature on it is a "R-1321D" number towards the bottom of it. If anyone can offer insight on how to program it or shipping details so i can order a pre programmed remote i would appreciate it.

Buy an upgradeable remote like the one-for-all urc-8910, 9910, or 9960. Then call an have TV 1520 loaded over the phone, or they will email you WAV file for to play through the cnmputer speakers.

Who do i call? i'm sorry i just don't want to go on a flying goose chase like i have with the other remotes i've tried to buy. i'm confused too on what a WAV file will do for the remote.

The WAV file puts upgrade codes into the remote that weren't there before. You can have them play the WAV file over the phone or they will email it to you, in which you play it over your computer speakers to the remote.

There is phone # in the manual of the remote. buy it, call it, do whatever you want.

YES I have a soyo TV with directv cable remote . direct tv remote is black and white. also I have a RCA Universal Remote. LOOK I am trying too program one or these remote to cut on and off my soyo tv please help me with finding the codes. THANKS!!!!!

DYLT032A- Model Number that is the soyo tv I have...my problem is I have no remote.. and my universal remotes will not work...I'm tired of getting up and down to change my channels from 5 to 195 it sucks.... can you help me out
