Clear Connect huh, I bet it is a mesh netowork technology that htey are trying to clobber everyone about in court. 200 devices, it sounds like z-wave or zigbee with a brand name. |

No Z wave, it's still RF. It's a pretty slick product that will be lower priced than old Ra but it will be very powerful.

The PC interface is a big deal to me. I HATE "programming" RA (I call it shoe leather programming). Hopefully they'll get off their arrogant a$$es and also enable the devices to provide level feedback. I have a love/hate relationship with RA (and Lutron in general, they're worse then Nevo in the area of arrogance and that's saying a lot) but, they are finally joining the rest of us in the 21st century and that goes a long way.

The "entry level" SR pricing isn't much cheaper than the standard RA so if anything it will go up with the new RA 2.
