The radio shack idiots actually believe M*'s line of bs. I just about got into a fight with one salesman over them when he tried to push them on my neighbor. They'd rather sale monster sh!t than their own brand of cables....

I started a thread months ago questioning the ethics of the BB salespeople all drooling over pushing Monster products.

I'm standing by my original theory that something foul's afoot, and now it's infected the Radio Shack people right down to the crux of their polyester slacks and pocket protectors.

don't forget the comb-over. No RS would be complete without at least one.

I hope these guys don't try and sue my 3 year old. She just came out and said there was a monster under her bed...

Someone should create a new company that sells lower cost cabling that does the same job and call it "Munster Cable" Maybe they could drag Herman Munster out of retirement and employ him as their ad campaign spokespesmonster.

Herman Munster died a few years ago.

BB forces its employees to sell monster's crap because the profit margin is 100%... BB buys the monster power HT3500 for $218 wholesale, and sells it for $399... It's an inferior unit to the HT3600 which wholesales for

There's more profit in power conditioners and cables for BB than there is for plasmas!

ooops on the cost... but not that I care when its Monster.

Hey, I guess I'll date myself here but I just bought an old CD by Blue Oyster Cult and one of the songs is titled "Monsters" (super nerd points for anyone who can name the album). Someone alert Noel because they are still selling it in record stores even though its 25 years old.

As I listened, remembering the song, I was thinking about this stuprid Monster Cable thing... maybe thats really all its about... recognition. Guess its working.

Wow, that's quite the list.

At CES all the monorail stations had those "Monster Energy" drink machines - and after reading this before leaving I wondered at the time whether Monster would try suing them - AND THEY ARE!

Suing the "Home of the monster shrimp"?
Suing "Scooby-Doo and the Monster of Mexico"?
Suing "Monster Truck Mania"?
Suing "My Pet Monster"?

I'm amazed I don't see "Monster Jam" (a monster truck show), "Monster House" (cousin show to Monster Garage) or the "Loch Ness Monster". :-)

While we're at it, why don't we just allocate all words beginning with M or C to Monster Cable and B or L (lifestyle) to Bose.

With those insignificant four letter being removed from the alphabet, we should be happy because there's still 22 left.

well, Monster House is also a division of the Discovery Channel, so I'm sure they're included in the Monster Garage suit.

Monster Cable's lawyer is one of those 99% who makes the other 1% look bad!

Big Wood... correct oh super nerd 70s-80s hard rock connoisseur!

I was so psyched to see it in the bin at $8.99. I go in looking for whats new but I find I usually end up with something like this to replace my vinyl copy.

Now I have heard they have sued someone named Nessie and the Country of Scotland. Something about a Loch Ness Monster.
