I first picked up a few Micro USB cables when my Kindle required it. They're only a couple bucks. Since then, a few other devices that need it have come into my life...

It's the same cable/connector that comes with ProControl remotes, yes...?

And if you've ever had to restore an AppleTV (black) from a f/w update gone bad (blinking white led on the front) it's quite useful. I got mine at RadioShack for $15.

So if used with a XP6, this remote would need both the ZM-24 and RM433 radios?
I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other.

i know it wouldnt need both. pick one. 433 for 1way, zigbee for 2way.

im not usre what the wifi is for but it is possible with wifi, you wouldnt need either. but more realisticly it is running scripts for things that play well via ip. streaming cams directly to screen etc.

I just converted an old T2C file into a T2X. It worked fine. You will have to do some additional programming because the T2X does not have dedicated buttons for "Home page" and "page".

Its actually better to have channel on the left (for right handers). When you hold a remote reach for the left buttons and then try the right. You will notice that you have to work harder to reach the right hand side even though its closer. Your thumb has to pull back more to reach the right buttons. If you suffer from carpal tunnel or have wrist pain you can tell the difference right away.

Since channel buttons are more frequently used its best to keep them on the right hand side.

but every other brand remote that i have ever used has them on the other side.  my world would be turned upside down.  maybe that is the answer, i would just have to hold the remote upside down.

problem solved.

I just lost every bit of respect I had for you! This is literally THE ONE reason I refuse to us RTI. It makes no sense whatsoever, even if the principle makes since, it still makes no sense. I haven't used RTI since the first year of T2C and probably never will. I even spoke with an RTI rep who admitted he gets comments and calls all of the time about it but that the engineer/designer had come up with it, likes it, and that was it. I am still in shock after all of these years they would still do this. Offer a fudging button kit for Gods sake.
