I really hate to temper this discussion, but I'm one of the ones with $4k of remotes in my garage that suffered from white screening. Let us commit to 6 months of minimum testing before deploying in the field.

lol, yeah right. 6 months of testing before deploying. i have still not mastered my compulsion to deploy the second items drop!!! even after swearing this practice off. what would we do in our off time if not for diagnosing problems that know one has ever heard of or better yet winning the prize for finding a limitation or issue that was not promoted or advertised. come on, buy 5, sell 4 and have some fun!!!!!!!

I got a UPS notification today, I think I have one headed my way. It will be curious to have some hands on experience. Better download 9.1 this weekend :)

9.1.1 today, then 9.1.2 on Sunday, then 9.1.3 on Monday
Etc................

I have to give it to them though, ever since the forum popped up they are taking care of the big bugs in software quickly.

Well you can keep your dirty thoughts about joysticks to yourself.

I got to play with the T2x at RTI training a few weeks ago.

If it performs as well as it looks, it is a winner. I love the ergonomics and layout.
Kinda want one for myself.

IMO, the hardbutton/touchscreen hybrid is the best layout for a general use remote. I hate pure touchscreens for video centric zones.
One handed operation and hardbuttons for numbers, nav, channel up/dn and volume are a must if you ask me.

And I wholeheartedly agree that Crestron NEEDS a remote like this. IMO, the MLX3 and MTX3 are both a swing and a miss.
I am a trained professional..... Do not attempt this stunt at home.

The problem is people don't have a choice with RTI given the T2C has been disco'd for a while now. People don't have a choice!

Why doesn't Crestron just resell RTI? Every Crestron install I've seen used RTI remotes anyways. It would be a win-win.

Cant wait to get mine.

I hope they add transport hard buttons to the T3X, then it might be my go to. I must have hard button play, pause, skip + and skip -. Cant live with those on the TS. I always use guide or a Fav page to change channels so the numeric buttons are a waste of space for me.

I have had Dishnet 5 years and I still dont know what channel ESPN is.
