I thought the charger thing was a problem until a spent a couple days with it. I grab the remote with my hand and push on the plastic "stand" with my pinky and it comes right out.

I agree the T2-X's charger is non-optimal, but not a deal killer. The drop-in charger for the T2-C and C+ were the biggest failure point for those remotes hands down, so if this works more reliably long-term, it'll be a decent trade-off.

That said, I'm tempted to send RTI my durable, reliable, water-proof--and inductively charged--Sonicare to study for work on the T2-X+.

it is the only remote that has the buttons in this configuration! i am not sure God made this decree but it is WIDELY accepted.

Does it matter? When you properly sell a system the only remote in the house would be an RTI remote. Why would you have multiple remotes laying around?

Well not all houses will have control systems at every TV. Many will have just a cable or DTV remote for instance to control a basic setup.
