Hello, new to the forum, not much to say on my part. I am completing my home automation and came here seeking for some advice on some aspects of the rack wiring.

Hi Everyone,

Finally got around to making a membership on this place. I talked to Fred Harding at CEDIA about the business I'm in of pre-owned/discontinued whole house audio equipment and he recommended coming to this place.

Been in the 'retail' aspect of whole house A/V for about the last 2 years (Mostly Niles/Russound and a small dabbling of SpeakerCraft).

Hope I can help out in some way or another.

Regards,
-MrKurt

Some of you may know my name as I have been active on the IP forums for a while now. I'm Ryan, and I own a 5-man company in Los Angeles called Frog AV.

Just saying hi. That's all for now.

Hi All, (nods to crowd)
I used to install cable tv and couldn't stand having to install cabling in such a horrible way. Took it upon myself to comeback nights and weekends to learn to wall fish and learn how to terminate cat5 as well as set up routers and stereos. I got flagged for earning money on the side and decided to make a go of it. Hooked on as a sub to a local AV installer, learned everything I could for 7 years. Now I have my own customer base, don't advertise and made more last year (in sales) than I earned in the previous 5 year salary.
I love this industry and being self employed- I like long walks on the beach and holding my customers hand while showing them how to improve their electronic life.
