Hi there,

I'm Kelley. I'm from Vancouver, Canada.

I'm currently the IT/AV guy on a 265' superyacht in France. I joined this site to learn more about Crestron mostly.

Currently we have:
1 Rack2
4 CNAMPXI-16x60
4 Pad 8A
10 MP2E
4 AV2
10 TPS-2000
1 TPS 12L
20 TPMC-8x
Extron Switchers
Kaleidescape Server and 20 clients
22 Sat TV decoders
Lutron Lighting controls throughout the whole boat.

Since I can't find any way I can get Crestron training... I'm left to great channels like this forum to figure out how to keep things running. Thanks for being here!

I have tonnes of source codes from the original install that I'm willing to trade for some tips here and there. Just send me a PM.

See ya around!

That's a SERIOUS boat! Is the owner's first name, Charles by any chance?

Hello I'm Dave somewhat of a audio/video buff while nowhere near as accomplished as some of the current posters I've done about 6 years of home audio/video installs with tons of very happy customers with their working tv/sound/satellite systems. I like to think I'm young and still learning though.

Been here, done that. I tried to leave this industry and failed. I love what we do, but I never wanted to be an owner. Now I am. Now I regret not becoming the master of my destiny sooner. Becoming an owner made me rediscover my love of this business.

My name is James, in case we have not met. I had to skip Cedia because I was busy. :-)

I'm Robert located in san Diego. I received my low voltage contractors license a year ago and started a residential low voltage wiring and home automation business. Currently working as a solo operation. Trying to focus on whole house remodel or new construction projects. I am a dealer for Vantage and Crestron products. Hope to learn from the experienced folks on this site.

Hello all, my name is Maya and from looking at the name, yes I'm a female. I've been a union electrician for 11 years now and am tired of working as a "line voltage" installer. I've always loved A/V and will be looking to transition to the low voltage, custom installation line of work in the near future. I've only posted once here today and thought I should introduce myself.

Not sure if there are any females in here but doesn't matter, I'm used to being the minority at work.

Cheers,

Maya

Greetings. I run a business in the industry in Ontario. I gave up a 6 figure income back in 2000 to do this stuff. I want on that 235 yacht.
