Well....it may be related, but I believe a hootnannyhodown might qualify. I am not 100% sure what goes on at one, but it sure sounds intriguing.
I spent the last 2 hours driving to and fro because someone did not ask a simple question. Work order: "They think antenna got fried by lightning. Go troubleshoot and diagnose." Question omitted: "What type of antenna?" Seems like an obvious follow up question to the caller, right?
Well, silly me for assuming, but I did not grab a backup XM antenna (but I did grab an extra TV antenna transformer, a test TV, and some RG6 connectors, etc.) Of course since I did not do that, it turns out that is exactly what it was. And lightning was not the culprit. The moron who installed it on a roof in a low spot where water would eventually collect, creating a puddle deep enough to submerge said antenna. Brilliant!
Double hang and bang will round out the afternoon for me. I love these easy days. :) Heading home for lunch and some Halo, as I saw my wife leaving with the kids as I drove by.
BTW, having a 1 mile commute is THA BOMBZ!!!11!1!! I totally recommend it.

Taking a couple of days off to go to lake Washington and watch the Blue Angels practice... Along with some random other low-fly overs by some bad assed jets etc.!!!
Going to be hot! Bringing the beer cooler and sitting on the shore, playing tour guide with a new friend who just moved here from Missouri --- which she is more than ecstatic to have escaped from!!! Should be fun!
She's never seen a Blue Angles show before, and is finding it difficult to understand my excitement... LOL I know it's kind of a guy thing, but she will be blown away. They do a great show out here every summer. WooooooHooooo!!!
Sunday is the big (Seafair) Unlimited Hydroplane races... The best day of the year in Seattle every year!

Hopefully you do not "lose" her like she lost that cat. :)
BTW, that cat must really hate its owner to run 100 blocks away. My cat has never been collared, fenced, locked up, etc. And we have moved 3 or 4 times with him. He always seems to come home. He used to disappear for a few days at a time. But I never worried. That is why I have a cat instead of a dog. Much less maintenance. Probably not as emotionally attached. I figure if he gets fed up, and leaves, he has a good reason and I am not going to be butt hurt if he wants to go elsewhere. Hell, I have even wished him an early demise several times so I can get some kind of semi-exotic and rare cat breed to replace him with. Is that so bad?
Now my mom, on the other hand, is the crazy cat lady. Most of hers are feral strays that scatter when a human approaches. But she keeps feeding them, so they keep coming around. Most are pretty shabby and would be better off dead honestly.

NO! The cat ran away, when my friend started house sitting. The cat has always had freedom via a cat door. The cat must have freaked because it's owners took off and left this stranger to take care of it! My friend was pretty freaked -out! The cat slept with her the first night, then the next morning she was GONE!
My cat has never been collared, fenced, locked up, etc.
Neither has my friend... (that I can recall anyways)...

Spent the afternoon In Laguna/Dana Point and San Clemente, Doing a tour and training at Sonance Tomorrrow (Wednesday), then taking a day of to relax before heading back to Seattle.
Any good AV retailer/integrator showrooms down here to stop by?
Take the day off from work and go down to the beach area and relax and take in the sights. You are in such a beautiful beach community.
Go here [Link: nicksrestaurants.com] (laguna location) get a table outside, enjoy some fantastic food and people/exotic car watch while you eat.
The beaches there are gorgeous, hell go to the tide pools at Dana Point and be a tourist [Link: mydanapoint.com]
The area you are in is too beautiful to waste it looking at equipment.
Highly recommend Nicks and get some asparagus fries, you wont regret it even if you don't like asparagus.
Check out Thousand Steps beach it tends to be less crowded, its a small beach with sand and rocks/caves to check out. Not really 1000 steps but really like 200, its keeps the kids out. You need the exercise, its worth it. [Link: google.com]
And if you just cant take the day off [Link: google.com]
And when you come out of Nicks turn left and go into the little strip shops, go to the back and have some delicious Italian ice cream.
Doing a nice upgrade to the original, and leaky, brake calipers.
It's kinda tame actually. 350/350 4 speed, bone stock with the exception of rims, sidepipes, chrome here and there, and the interior. Has under 40K original miles too.

Are you getting sleeved calipers?
When you replace them do this, get a turkey baster and suck out all the fluid from the master cylinder, wipe clean and replace fluid. BEFORE you remove the old calipers, crack the bleeders one at a time and gravity bleed/flush (do not pump pedal) the caliper till the fluid runs clear, rinse/repeat at each wheel. Just keep pouring in new fluid into the master. Check the condition of the flex hoses at each wheel, they can be problematic.
When you replace the calipers, mount them and hook the lines up and again just open the bleeder and gravity bleed (no pumping) until the fluid comes out solid and clear, no bubbles. One wheel at a time.
After that when you pump the pistons/pads out to the rotors, use slow short strokes until you get pedal.
You do not want to push the pistons in the master into the area where they do not usually travel, this will destroy the seals in the master.
Go back the each caliper after you have pumped them out and again GRAVITY bleed only until the fluid runs bubble free.
After that you should only need someone with a foot on the pedal for only an couple short bleeder cracks to push out remaining bubbles.
When applying pressure on the pedal make sure the lid is on the master (does not have to be latched down) or fluid can shoot up onto the paint. Brake fluis is excellent paint remover (I am sure you already know that).
After that every two years remove the fluid from the master cyl and refill and gravity bleed the system and you will never have corrosion in the brake system again.
They had everything. THe Belt sanders had cute little stuffed animals tie strapped onto them. They were free to race. Then came the angle grinders with saw blades and also circular saws. The end was a wall of tires to preserve the tools. A sled to retrieve the tools was on the side and used an old bicycle to move the sled via Rope.
I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other.

searching hotels for cedia....Dallas is a total PITA and expensive...Very disappointed with cedia for the location choice. hotels within walking distance of the convention center are few and far between.
Cedia should be permanently moved to Denver. Center of the country, flights and hotels are easy and relatively inexpensive. C'Mon Cedia, get your act together.
This being said until they can book 10 year slots why not offer it in orlando where flights, hotels, access and convention centers are plentiful...Hell do it at Disney!
