Broke a F@*&^@^ xbox kinnect eye. Fell off the top of the TV as i shifted the tv over to the right, of course it caught and wham it goes falling on the corner and shattering into three pieces.

went on a while goose chase to try and track one down, no one had them. Had to drive to a gamstop in eastjubumblef&^# to find one. I am now $129 poorer

I've been trying to get this $400K project for about 6 months... Monday I went over to this potential client's rich uncle's house, who is a friend of a friend and offered at no charge to get his media room system up and running (it'd been on the fritz for 5 years, and he's had a couple of guys come out and try to fix it, but it only got more and more messed up)...

I thought it might take me an hour or two, but it ended up taking all day as it was totally misswired, miss programmed and well, just a total clusterf*ck.

I ended up pulling all the gear out and totally rewiring and tweaking everything (His TV was getting 480 P! I gave him 1080p and really balanced out his surround sound speakers bla bla bla...

He was pretty damn amazed when it was all up and running, and as I was packing up to leave he pulls out a handful of $100 bills. I said, hey thanks but I can't take that, as I TOLD you this was a favor - I then said, take me out to lunch or dinner sometime!

I thanked him and left.

...Got a phone call today, and he told me he talked to my potential client and his wife and builder last night at a nice dinner, and he said to them: "YOU A**HOLES QUIT F*CKING around and hire that Bruce Stanley guy"!!!

That made my day today! Sometimes a little favor can go a long way.

Wooooooooo Hoooooooooo!

Nice! We did our first iPad only (for touchpanels) job last summer. 20 iPads. No launchports though. Im using guided access to lock the iPad to the crestron app.

A year later we have only had 1 issue. iPads stopped communicating. It affected every iPad. Power cycling the iPads resolved the issue. Solar Panel company reported a network issue with their hardware around the same time, Hopefully just a random network gremlin.

Just finished moving our showroom network to a panel in order to clean up our rack. Of course everything in the rack is still wired to a rack mounted network switch. This allows us to show off how we would typically wire a customers network and also allows me to really clean up our rack now.

We just moved into our current building and we badly need to clean up the wiring in this place. I Bet you are a lot happier with what you have done.

Looks good. That Wattbox strip fits perfectly in that panel. I literally want to throw up when I look at my wiring in my house. Both my rack, the corner where the router/modem is, everything. I have spent some time cleaning it, but I never put the time to finish and it just spirals back out of control. If I brought my clients down there, they'd fire me quicker than a crazy guy firing a target shopper.

Thats a Watt box VPS-8 or something like that. The panel is a 28". I just zip tied it to the side of the panel. The real surprise was how freaking big that ToughSwitch is. It's got some weight to it as well. It's the first one we have done (first managed switch too) and I actually really like it, aside from how much room it takes up in the panel. I was going to move my DirecTV power inserter and splitter into the panel as well, but that switch took up all the room. I will definitely be switching to the next size up in panels when we do this for customers.

I dislike the power strip in this panel because most of it is useless. With custom sized power cords, you are ready to publish this in any trade magazine.
I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other.
