Not 100% happy no. It remains very slow. But everything works and with some fiddling around I adapted the layout to match my setup. Besides I use it only to setup and drive my receiver/sonos combo in 1 go. For most of the other zones I use the sonos controller/or iphone

Would, as stated before, also be quite willing to pay for a better module!

With the recent changes to the Pronto site, can anyone tell me where I can get hold of the Sonos module? I am an end user/self installer. Thanks

Hi,
Is this optimised for use with the 9800?

I'd love an evaluation code to test.

Cheers, Lee

Lee,

Not sure what you mean by optimized for the 9800...
If you go to the site, the first picture is a TSU9800. ;-)

Hi Lyndel,

Just wondering if the graphics differed in any way between the 9600 and 9800 versions, with the 9800 have a bit more real estate on screen.

Cheers, Lee

You can get a code from your distributor and then create a user account at the Philips site. http://www.pronto.philips.com

You can download the module HERE.

You will find on the zip file, the documentation (english and french) and a gef gallery file.

The module is for TSU-9400/TSU-9600/TSU-9800, TSW-9500 will comming soon !

In order to use the module you need an "activation code" if you buy the module or an "evaluation code" if you want to try. In both case you need to send me the internal serial number of the remote where you want to use the module. To get it press "BACKLIGHT + MENU + FIRM2".

Did they ever release the improved Sonos module they told me about at CEDIA ? It was going to be a paid module.

Cheers,
Peter

I send my module to Pronto Team and don't know if their told about it during Cedia. I have start to cell my module two month ago to a limited company. Now I have good feedback so I will try to extend my purpose to many other company.

My distributor is not being helpful, so I can't get a registration code to set up an account on the Pronto site & download the Sonos module. Anybody's ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks for others' offers to download their own Sonos modules, but it's Pronto's own I'm after.

The 9800 is a 640x480 display. Resolution is identical but I now understand your point about having more physical area.
