for the past few years ive used separate remotes and had a very annoying experience “setting up” any sort of viewing experience in my theater.
I decided to put my rack in an adjoined room and I am worried about being able to use a remote while in the theater.
gear list: Receiver: Yamaha tsr-700 Projector: benq ht3550 Apple tv4k (could use phone instead) Bluray player: panasonic ub420
a bonus would be to be able to control the lights
i am interested in both expensive and cheap options as I am not sure what best fits my situation. I would not mind spending if it made my theater experience more streamlined
Please post any input and it will be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Are you the DIY type or would you hire a pro?
