Hello All,
I've been a happy user of URC (Complete Control), but because smart TV's have gotten so....smart, I've simplified my system and said goodbye to cable/sat boxes, DVD players, etc.
I'm looking for a remote that will control my tvs (I have 4 of them in my living room) with Bluetooth, but I also need to control my McIntosh processor. I could always use IR, but I really like precision of the serial connection through rs-232 I had on URC. Macros are a must, I like to have bass and treble adjustments automatically when I use my Turntable.
Any suggestions? Thx
Derek

I'm in a similar boat. I have a URC MX-980 w/ MSC-400 that has served me well and I continue to maintain with the URC official access for end users to legacy products, but I'm thinking of upgrading some components to devices that are IP-enabled / Bluetooth while I still have some legacy devices that I'd like to continue using RS-232 on. I really want something that I can continue to tweak and maintain myself which makes any pro-installer-only options a non-starter but it seems like those companies are the only ones that make products that can do what I need. I really don't want something that I need to rely on someone else to make changes on, but I can't find any products that can do what I need and I can program myself. 🙁
