The remote for my Panasonic AV Receiver recently got stepped on. Instead of a replacement I'd rather just get a good Universal. $100 isn't a hard limit, I would consider anything up to $150. As long as it has a hard play/pause/rew/ff cluster that is located near the top or center.

I have no doubt others will have different ideas, but I've had mine for 2 years and had no major issues.
