I have the
ON ka 01 01
OFF ka 01 00
HDMI 2 xb 01 91

but i need the Home,enter/select,up,down,left,right and exit.
The book has my head spinning.

Those commands are standard RS232 LG commands for recent models, so it is very reasonable to think they keep using the same set of RS232 commands.

I am sending all the information I have to remotecentral.com, it should be posted soon.

You probably have your answer by now, but if you don't you can go to LG's website and download the owner's manual for the E6 OLED and included is a manual for External Control Device Setup. I too am looking for the code for Home, but it's not listed in the manual.

Does somebody know if you need to put the tv in a "pro" mode to be able to control it via RS232? I can't find the External Device Setup for mys 65e6v online.

Home (WebOS) RS-232 code found!

It took me forever to find. You have to use the serial code that represents the remote's "Home" button, which is "42" in this case.

That is:

mc 1 42 (carriage return)

Change the "1" to whatever device ID the TV is assigned.
