Hello Guys....
Im seeking some advice.
Several years ago Leviton gave me box full DHC of stuff to install... and try. It wasn't possible to use all of it at the time so a lot of it's been sitting in the box for about 9 yrs..

Now I'd like to try to use it but the world has changed technology wise.. Wifi is here... and being a very Mac oriented house house we've got iPhones and iPads and Macs sitting everywhere. I like the idea of using some of these to help make the house run... and control devices..

The Chopin music thing worked sorta well in our old house.. decent sound and basic conrol.. the IR targets were fine... but I'm not certain we need them now..

The main things I seek to operate is lighting control being able to turn most light off at one/two locations.. and scene ability. Shade control, HVAC control and Music distribution. Heres a list of what I've got.. Does anyone know how i can use it please? (Leviton are IMPOSSIBLY horrible to get hold of now, it was easy once.. now its useless! - did they move from Seattle?)

Some of the things look dreadful and Radioshack like and the camera i think is not necessary
Lighting wise we have about 13 on/off regular switches (lights and switched outlets) about 15 dimmers (plus 2 additional dimmable 3-ways circuits in the stairwell)
How does the Toscana thing come into it? can i use an "add-on" to enable the iPad to remotely participate i this system via wifi?
For the Somfy 110v sunscreen shades do i use a separate Somfy control system and just use use the the iPad with an App as a remote? or does leviton make something wonderful for this please?
For HVAC... I simply think i should replace the 4 thermostats with 4 new Wifi ones and use the App that comes with them?
For music... Maybe the Chopin amps again with an apple airPort as a feed to the zones.. (we like iTunes a lot...)


Anyway sorry for the long post, and hope i don't get booted off for it!. I look forward to hearing some suggestions.... and would like to use what i CAN from the box.. in my first foray into an slightly automated home.
