Will, WOW! Thanks for the firecracker tip, I ordered it 5 minutes after reading your post. Heck the lamp module alone is worth twice what the whole kit cost me. Also you get a Palmpad and a RF Transceiver plus the PC port interface. Very kewl offer. :))
Mine arrived today, so far so good. The only thing I needed to change was a lamp's code as the wireless xcrv. module also doubles as an appliance module with code 1 assigned to it.
For those still interested, I followed the link listed above, then on to X-10.com, and found they are STILL letting you buy the firecracker kit for shipping costs. I ordered mine 8/30/1999.
