first real two way system.

T3-Vz, XP8

everything is working great so far . .
just a few questions . .

1. iport, im getting two way feedback,
but the artists list and playlists arent populating the list for some reason.
im using an iphone, is that the problem? i dont have a regular ipod on me.
im going to try and get one and test . . but i have used a similar iport dock in the
past with an iphone and got two way working with nevo . .

2. onkyo . .
im using the power toggle switch from oasis template,
but i cant find a power toggle . .
forget it . . i can create a macro on it with flags . .
got it.

im trying to figure out how to update it now.

Its ok to converse with yourself, once you start arguing and hitting yourself is when the problems arise
There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.

the iport driver does not work.
the are "aware" of the issue and are going to
try and send me beta software to fix it.

anyone else having this issue?
the lists arent populating once i get past the first menu.

What?!?!?!? I've got five FS22s in the field with either keypads or remotes or both running perfectly (2way).

I can't think if any are using iPhones... is that the problem?

no,
i tried two other ipod - a classic and a nano.

could it be a bad iport?
it does play music when i put an iphone in and run pandora,
but i cant play any music from ipods because they say iPort on the screen.

the iport is running firmware 3.03
rti and sonance said it wasnt a problem.

its an iport IW22

Hmmm... We have 4 iports (FS-22) installed and all is working well even with iPhones... We just installed the IW-22 today but didn't get it connected on the rack... We'll have it done tomorrow so I'll let you know if it's an issue with the IW-22... I hope not...

Why are you using flags for power when there are discrete codes for most of their models?
On some models you can press the input that you want to use and it will power on the receiver.

Any word on this?

rti has a power toggle graphic that either shows if the system is on or off.
you can drop a power toggle command on top of it so when the client presses the power toggle it will send the command and the graphic will show the current status of the system.

so the sonance amp i am using has power toggle and discreet for each zone.
i can just drop a power toggle on these and the client knows if its on or off.

not so simple with onkyo receivers (2 of them) because
they dont have a power toggle command in the system
so im going to have to make an if then macro on them.

but still no luck with the iport.
rti tech support was no help
and sonance said it was a known problem.

after that rti said yes its a known problem
and told me they would get back to me.

they didnt.

So they are saying that it's an issue with the IW and not the FS (I know the FS22 works perfectly)? Strange...
