I have a Sony CMT-BX3 stereo-unit with a supplied RM-SCU37 remote which has no numeric pad - it only allows station choice by up and down of pre-sets. I wish to choose stations using digital/numeric entry. Is there a substitute remote with a numeric pad which would allow me to do this?

Hard to say. This is supported by Sony's standalone A/V receivers, but I don't know if that particular unit will support it (or even what codeset it uses in the first place).
