Hi all,
Just been on sony chat support with zero success on my problem, but im not taking no for an answer
ALL my entertainment kit is sony...tv, video, dvd player and surround sound. At present all these can be adequately controlled by the remote from the HT-DDW760 surround sound.
This remote is the RM-PP760
I have recently purchased and setup the Sony BDP-S550 blu ray player.
I want to be able to control my new blu ray player with the RM-PP760 remote. Sony say it can't be done. Do you guys know better?
If so, please pass on some simple instructions to solve the problem

According to Amazon that unit's from 2005. BD players didn't even exist then, so a preprogrammed-only remote like that has no way of knowing how to control them. If it were a learning model it could work - but it's not.
I suggest buying a modern universal remote.
