I just purchased a Sony KDL-52XBR9 TV which comes with a RM-YD029 remote control.
I really want to avoid having to get a universal remote considering all the features/functions of the television. Also, my cable box and blueray player all work fine with that remote.
My problem is my NAD T762 receiver. I can't find a code for it to work. I only need to control power on/off and volume but I would like to be able to control these from the TV's remote.
I contacted NAD and Sony and they basically told me that it was "the other guy's problem".
My questions are: 1. Is there a code to do this? 2. if not, is there a remote that will allow me to control everything seamlessly without having to spend a decade or more programming it (and then teaching my family how to use it)?
Thanks!

Set up the NAD remote to control your TV exactly the way you like. you may have to read the instruction book to do this.
