My remote commander (av3000) does not communicate with this device. The remote for the device works but there is no response from the dvd player whenever the rm av3000 is used. How can i get this to work?

No codes for combos yet (said many times here in the past). You will have to learn everything.

It won"t accept the learn sequence. The av3000 beeps but the power on and off does not work. Any other advice?

Did you mean the 3000 will learn everything but the power command? There is no reason why the power command cannot be successfully learned. Others have reported complete learning ability. Recheck your procedures, and try learning to another key to see if it works. If you can learn the rest of the commands, you should be able to learn the power command.
