If you are learning the function, be sure and hold the key on the original remote down until the 3000 beeps.

If you are programming one of the system control buttons, check out the following link.

SYSTEM CONTROL KEYS: Everything you need to know about them

If this doesn't help, please list the exact procedure you are using to program the power off function, including all commands.

My TP501E commands the E9000ES into standby mode as it should and pressing any function key wakes it up, as it should. However, I have been unsuccesful learning this full command into my AV2100.

If the 9000 is on, the AV2100 will put it in standby from the learned command but I have been unsuccesful getting the 9000 out of stnadby mode using the AV2100. No doubt there is a simple solution but being a neophyte at all this I have not been able to break the code.

Any help would be appreciated.
