i have a rm-av3100 disc dvd changer. i know this thing has learning function and all that stuff, but this remote supports up to 18 devices. does it have a profile for dvd changers? it still works under the dvd player profile but i can't switch between discs with the DVD function. i need buttons like NEXT DISC and stuff

No, there is not a selection for a multi changer, but you can put it where you want (CD, or DVD, or press other and change one of those to say "200 disc", then teach what ever functions you need, you can change the four lables at the bottom(3 pages for a total of 12) to say what ever you want and learn whatever command you need.
For example: "dics up" and "disc down". On my 100 disc changer it has 5 different group settings so I labled those buttons to say the names of four members in my family, that way one person can put their cd's in slots 1-25, one person slots 26-50
and so on. Then I set up a simple macro that whenever they press their name it will select their "slot of cd's. This of cource depends on your cd player and how it works.
In my case it works without fail every time.
Also on the DVD page layer under the "audio"button is a lable that says "d.skip"
or under the title and subtitle buttons their is thumbs up and thumbs down which would also work for disc skip.
Channel up and down changes tracks.
