I am trying to program my Sony RM-VL710 to control my Sony DAV-X1 Home Theater (HTIB). The only code I could find to control the power was 4089, but that is a reciever code and I cannot control the DVD functions with that code. Any suggestions?

You can learn whatever you can't get with a preset code. Not an elegant solution, but one that works.
