I have the above remote which came with my reciever. The function I use most is the communication with my 300 disc player. It displays the discs, etc on the small LCD screen. Why I'm here you ask?, Does sony make another remote that does the same as above, such as the rm av 2000? Please advise . Thank you

You would need a universal remote with two way (send and receive) capabilities, and I don't know of any. If your RM-LJ302 is still working, you would have to use it to display information from your disc player.
