I have an rm-ax1400 and I have been trying to setup the XPRESS buttons. I have successfully loaded several Power buttons, and set the TV-Input, but I can't make the a/v receiver (Sony DAV-HDX576WF) select the right function. Even in the Advanced editor, the only choice offered is the TUNER key (which of course - sets the a/v to the tuner, but I need to set it to DVD, or SAT/CABLE, or TV, or whatever.

On the original remote, this is accomplished with a Function+ or Function- button that scrolls through 7 choices. I got the impression from other posts that I need to find some discrete way to select the function.

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks,
Jake

I found the two codes I needed to set the DAV inputs. These were on hifi-remote.com:
0\\DVD/CD\\02500000007D00000083\\\\
0\\TV\\02500000006A00000083\\\\

That was good, but now I have another glitch. If I assign the above codes to a button, they both work fine; but if I put them in an XPRESS macro, they never work. Any ideas on that?

Jake
